Sirens of Mothrix
Cocooned mystery, welded steel, hand painted, cast resin, illuminated sculptural, mass extinction event. A consumptive, reproductive, entangler. Metamorphic, creator/destroyer. A representation of our call to destruction as a species of consumption. Sirens of Mothrix asks ‘Can we exist without destroying our habitat and the greater environment?’
Sirens of Mothrix larger form; The spiral of life illustrates that when a race is too strong for an eco system they dominate. Chocking out everything as well as it’s self.
